Warrior Shellmets displays perhaps the most complex social hierarchy within the SuperFauna clade. This species will form societies which can be described as tribal and warlike, seeming to be fuelled purely by a reckless aggression. These societies will partake in a variety of violent activities including extravagant hunting excursions, raids on other tribes and even fight circles where combatants take part in knockout tournaments before a raucous audience. They have even been seen attacking SuperFauna species far above their weight class, successfully winning standoffs against Falco stridensiphonus and Buceros capitecavo. One particular tribe of about 13 individuals seem to have their home around the Monolith and will relentlessly defend it should a potential aggressor get too close.

Their social hierarchy seems to be determined by the shell helmets they adorn, with individuals sporting particularly large or spiked shells as the alphas of a tribe, male or female. Given the lack of habitat where shells are naturally found within the Zone, it is all but confirmed that these war helmets are sourced from Warpbirds, one of the few species they are non-hostile towards.
